I am new here, So I am looking for a guide on installing Snow leopard on My System, AMD FX 6300 GTX 650 TI 2 GB Factory OVERCLOCKED M5a99X Evo R 2.0 8 Gigs of vengence 1 TB Western digital (Windows right now) 600 GB Seagate baracuda. (soon to be snow leopard hopefully!!) Ahci ENABLED DONE! MAC OS X Mountain Lion 10.8.3 Virtual Machine DONE! 16 GB USB stick DONE! Knowledge. SOMEWHAT DONE! Send me a PM or a link please with a guide! PS. This Guide must be using a USB method (i do not have a CD drive Nor big enough CDs) PSS. dcai777 Posted March 12, 2014 Share Posted March 12, 2014 1. use this to make usb http://myhack.sojugarden.com/guide/ 2. download the amd_kernel from here http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/281450-mavericks-kernel-testing-on-amd-formerly-mountain-lion-kernel-testing-on-amd/ 3. make the install usb with myhack 4. unzip amd_kernel.zip and copy amd_kernel to your usb installer 5. boot the myhack installer with "amd_kernel -v" 6. if it works, then install. if not, post where it stops and take pic and show me 1 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
