macsmack Posted March 9, 2014 Share Posted March 9, 2014 Board: MICRO-STAR INTERNATIONAL CO., LTD 3664hBus Clock: 1066 megahertzBIOS: American Megatrends Inc. v1.10 06/09/2010 Core 2 Duo E7500 Processor (1) 2 GB 10600 HP Memory Module Western Digital 1 TB Hard Drive Western Digital 500 GB Hard Drive Realtek ALC662 Audio Realtek RTL8168D/8111D Family PCI-E Gigabit Ethernet NIC (NDIS 6.20) [NoDB]Nvidia GeForce 9300 GE Video Card On the 1 TB drive I have Winows 7 Professional 64 Bit On the 500 GB drive I have Mavericks and Mountain Lion I choose to boot mainly into Windows. To boot into OSX I press F9 to choose Boot Order. If I change the hard drive boot sequence in BIOs it will go straight to Chameleon and I can choose which OS I wish to use. I boot this way so that my Grandchildren can use the Windows without my having to explain what to do. No changes were made to BIOs settings. I used MYhack for both OSX installs. I had to fudge in order to get sound and working Ethernet. I won't divulge the method used. In Mavericks I was unable to access the Apps Store. I got the message "this device or computer is not verified". After researching how to fix this problem all attemps led to the dreaded KP. Is booting to a black screen a KP? Technically that's what happened. I was able to access the Apps Store in Mountain Lion so I decided to copy the Chameleon boot plist and paste it into Mavericks. I can now access the Apps Store with no KP. Thanks for letting Me share this. Thanks also to all who have worked so hard to allow me to do this SO EASILY!!!!!!!!!
