Can't boot with RAID 0

Hi,

I have my OSX on an SSD and two 1TB HDDs that I want in a RAID 0. (the SSD not in the RAID) So I choose RAID in the SATA Selection in the BIOS, entered the RAID configuration and created the RAID between the two HDDs. The problem now is I can't boot into OSX. (stop sign when the apple logo screen is loading) If I switch back to AHCI in BIOS I'm able to boot but without the RAID and when in the RAID config again it says one of my disks "failed". I know there's nothing wrong with my disks, I know my motherboard supports RAID and I've tried different SATA ports on the mobo.

I also have Windows 7 on another SSD-disk and there I got the RAID working by changing these to "0" in the registry:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\System\CurrentControlSet\Servic es\Msahci\Start
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\System\CurrentControlSet\Servic es\Pciide\Start
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\servic es\iaStorV\Start

Help appreciated!

Samsung 840 Pro 256 GB
2x 1TB Seagate SSHD
Intel Core i7-4770K
ATI Radeon 7970
2x 8gb Corsair Vengeance
