wingshigh.g
Hi, I am not sure if this is an unlocker issue so I did not embed it into the unlocker specific thread. What I have is that I have upgraded my ESXi 5.1 to 5.5, I have an AMD CPU and board. I understand the unlocker is not intended for AMD CPUs, but I know there are other ways to get it working. The strange thing I have encountered though is that as soon as I applied the unlocker, the system becomes unstable in terms of connection to the ESXi server. For example I will loose connection to it, or the remote desktop console becomes black (blank) screen. I followed the steps from VMWare for solving similar issue but nothing helped. As soon as I uninstalled the unlocker, the issue went away. Is there anything I missed here? Thank you in advance.

wingshigh.g
Donk, I made a new file called install-new.sh base on the thread input, I did chmod +x per the instruction, when I tried ./install-new.sh, the system says: -sh: ./install-new.sh: not found I am not familiar with linux environment, could you give an advice here? I guess it is probably permission related? Thanks.
Donk
Apologies for delay been away from web for a few days. That error is likely you have saved the file as Windows format with CR/LF and need to save as Unix with LF only.
