Dear inanelymacers,

My new setup is running nearly perfect OOTB - what a difference to hackintosh back in 2009 and 2010, where I set-up some unproductive machines. Painful and not stable - nowadays things are much easier :)

My current specs are:
CPU: Core i5 3470
GPU: AMD Radeon R9 280X - (works nearly perfect ootb)
RAM: 8GB
MOBO Asrock Z68 Pro3 Gen3
OS: 10.9.1

I found a DSDT in this where the machine sleeps, but when it wakes up either the keyboard or the screen freezes after some seconds. I guess it has to do with a mix between the Radeon and the Asrock board. I patched the 2.30 BIOS and installed that prior to building the system.

Current issues:

  • No DSDT I was able to create with MaciASL for reliable sleep/wake
  • No HDMI/DisplayPort Audio with the DSDT I found - I built a DSDT that did enable it, but sleep did not work

So my request, and I would be very happy if it would work out, is to receive assistance in patchings a DSDT for working sleep / speedstep and Audio over the discrete PCI-E GPU and its Displayport.

Also, are SSDT files still required for Mavericks with an Ivy Bridge CPU?
