-v USBLegacyOff=Yes npci=0x2000 -f GraphicsEnabler=Yes

I have to use all these flags (except -v which is the verbose mode) to get my Mavericks to boot. Can anyone tell what and how to do so that I don't have to type in all those flags every time I boot in to Mavericks.

One other issue I'm having is my shutdown and restart don't work. It might stop the signal to my monitor causing it to go in to standby but the desktop continues running.

I just remembered sleep it does shutdown on sleep but on wake the desktop comes up and it does send a signal to me monitor because it comes out of standby but there is nothing being displayed it's just a black screen.

Any help with these issues would be appreciated

Hello dsalsa,

you can use the org.chameleon.boot.plist to store these bootflags. Easiest way would be to use Chameleon Wizard and check/uncheck the corresponding options...

I'm not firm with AMD systems, but do you really need to boot everytime with ignoring caches (-f)?

To improve restart try the additional bootflag "RestartFix=Yes" and for the sleep problem "darkwake=0"

Best regards

I used Chameleon Wizard and after that my Mavericks wouldn't boot, had to end up re-installing it.

I tried booting without ignoring caches (-f) and if I remember correctly it did boot but it didn't get to the desktop it just got to a whitish screen.

I'll try the "RestartFix=Yes" and "darkwake=0" and report back

Sorry to say but the restartfix did not solve my problem. It did boot without the "USBLegacyOff=Yes" but my USB did not work. It recognized my mouse and keyboard but when I plugged in in a USB stick it didn't even try to read it.

I've also noticed Maps doesn't work and it still doesn't reboot or shutdown properly

You should be able to boot without the -f flag. Try repairing your permissions and rebuilding your cache. This can be easily and safely done with kext wizard and should be done every time you make changes to your kexts.
