I hope this is in the right place but I'm starting to think of selling my G5 hack that I built. I have no idea what it is worth so I would be interested in what people think it would be worth.

The specks are:

- Intel Core i5 3570K

- 8GB 1600Mhz DDR3

- Gigabyte Z77 DS3H

- NVIDIA Geforce GTX 660 2GB

- OCZ Agility 3 60GB SSD

- 1TB Seagate HDD (might not be included however)

- Sony DVD RW

- Wifi card

- 550W OCZ Modular PSU

- Custom G5 case in fairly good condition bar a few small scratches/scuffs.

Here is the build thread which shows the quality (in my opinion) of the build.

I would only be willing to sell within the UK. Any helps on what it would be worth would be appreciated, I never worked out what it cost me to build but I think it was in the region of £900 plus a few days of hard work to convert the case! I was also thinking it probably wouldn't be worth selling it in parts? I still have all the boxes for the components but it would probably be too much hassle to dismantle it and sell them all individually, plus I might get less for it?

Just in case anybody is interested I'm thinking of switching my MacBook Air to a Retina Macbook Pro 13" which would make the desktop superfluous.

Thanks,

Chris

450$ should be good as it is used.
