Hi All! First time poster! Hope everyone can help!!

I've been following Section 2 of http://rampagedev.wo...-mountain-lion/ to install Clover using UEFI and currently I can't boot when I get to the Clover screen. I see the large button telling me to boot into the Installation Partition but when I press enter the screen just flashes. I've modified the options in "Options" to the bootflags that the website recommended but nothing helps. I'm not sure if the problem is because of my 4930k being an Ivy Bridge-E or because my R9 270 only works with fixes on Mavericks. If anyone can help it would be great! I'm happy to chat with anyone!

Also... would it matter that I'm running the Clover pkg on my MacBook Pro? (of course I chose the USB as the destination but I was jus wondering)

Hello

I gave to you a solution to install OSX...

Your mobo is UEFI, so set in Bios your mobo for UEFI mode...

After install OSX, install Clover in UEFI mode... i'll help you to install Clover...

Note: I don' have your hardware, so i don't give any warranty that you'll have a OSX running 99%, but let's do our best :)

I have similar problem with 4930k, GA-X79-UP4 and GeForce 610.

Set MOBO to UEFI.

Hi guys, I've disabled CSM (which is apparantly how you set MOBO to UEFI for ASUS Rampage MOBOs), I'm trying with the image that PimentelX86 gave me but it's stuck after:

root device uuid is '(i'm to lazy to type it all)'
++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

and the cursor just blinks without proceeding... I've tried both -v cpus=1 npci=0x2000 and -v npci=0x2000 (the default one for the image that PimentelX86 gave me)

Hello

Try configure your Bios: http://olarila.com/f....php?f=2&t=1804

If you don't know how set your mobo for UEFI, use this guide: http://olarila.com/f...php?f=28&t=4084
This guide teach how set for legacy_boot too...

Boot with Clover(default by the image)and try boot...

If this don't work, set your mobo for legacy_boot and use Chameleon bootloader, for change to chameleon you need press 1 while cursor is blinking  before you get Clover Screen...

Good Luck!

Using Clover 2605

Boot Args: -v -f cpus=1 npci=0x2000 PCIRootUID=1 (with or without -x)

Using 10.9.1 created mediainstall

When booting I get:

OsxAptioFixDrv: Starting overrides for .IABootFiles\boot.efi

efiboot loaded from device: ...

boot file path: .IABootFiles\boot.efi

..Loading kernel cache file '\.IABootFiles\kernelcache\'...

root device uuid is '...'

++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

then reboots...

(note that only GPU is 610 ... r9 290 removed)
