yordanrhapsody
Hi everybody, I installed osx 10.9 on my Sony Vaio z11VN it has an old p9500 intel cpu, a centrino2 platform it has 2 graphic cards and is possible to select them with a physical switch. The only option available is the nvidia 9300 gs 256mb (the other is an unsupported Intel X4500HD) I can't get it working correctly I installed this kext http://www.osx86.net/files/file/947-nvdanv50hal-kext-zip-nvidia-geforce-9300m-gs/ but there are several problems to be solved 1. at every boot I need to write -v in command boot, otherwise the graphic card isn't recognized (and not every time it works, sometimes it starts at 1024x768 and in system info the graphic card has 0mb ram ---- GraphicsEnabler=Yes is on the org file) 2. the resolution is only 1280x800 (while the real screen resolution is 1600x900) and I don't have hw acceleration (I see artifacts in safari and no animation anywhere) I tried with natit kext but without success (I don't even know if I installed them in the right way) what else should I do?
