Hello

"Vanilla installation method from this forum" this is music for my ears

Ok, so you need adjust your power management now.

I this guide you can find everything about powermanagement for Sandy and Ivy Bridger(and in future for Haswell too): http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/295587-power-management-for-sandy-and-ivy-bridger/
I this case your CPU is Sandy Bridger.

Just post here what you need, it's your topic - you get to decide what's on or off topic.

Normally you'd edit fakesmc to change the revision and the smc-compatible string, for example to huronriver if you're using the iMac13,1 model identifier.

Some people edit FakeSMC to add missing "keys" that OS X is complaining about during boot.

Right click FakeSMC.kext, click 'show package contents', open the contents folder, then open the info.plist with xcode. plists are xml formatted so if you don't have xcode make sure you open it in an xml capable editor so as to not screw up the formatting. If you want to change the revision string, click edit, then 'show raw keys and values' first so you can see what you're doing. That's all.

btw I have a similar issue, sometimes i need one keypress/mouseclick to wake from S3, then another one to turn on my displays.

Maybe this is a dumb question but have you tried holding down a key for a while after it's woken up?

Don't worry about the restartfix, it's enabled by default. The only time you need to set it in org.chameleon.Boot.plist is if you need to disable it for some reason.

I guess it must be Chameleon Wizard putting these thoughts into people's heads.
