aankun.ganteng Posted February 5, 2014 Share Posted February 5, 2014 Hi, I got my Asus G75vw (GTX 670m model) running Mavericks 10.9.1 It's running fine but the fan speed is not detected. Also the fan seems to be not speeding up under load (both GPU and CPU) I've tried comparing with other notebook DSDT files, but there are a lot of difference in variables. One articles I found that have a very similar DSDT structure is this --> http://forum.notebookreview.com/asus/705656-fan-control-asus-prime-ux31-ux31a-ux32a-ux32vd.html From what I found, the fan speed info can be found on the EC (Embedded controller), I think And also something about 16bit and 8bit patching, I don't really know. Until now I can manage a simple patch, like enabling backlight on keyboard and enabling GPU Can someone give me a direction or maybe helping me patch my DSDT.
