macsmack Posted February 2, 2014 Share Posted February 2, 2014 In the last two weeks I have done a successful installation. I have everything working well and was able to download Apps from the Apps Store. I tried to use the Apple Update and was unsuccessful. I'm not sure if I'm supposed to do this or if it is needed. The only glitch that i have is the computer will boot from the hard drive but when I get to the password screen my USB keyboard and mouse don't work. The only way they work is to boot from the USB stick that I used to install Mountain Lion and choose my Mountain Lion hard drive. The weird part is if I boot into the install stick my USB keyboard and mouse are not recognized!!!!! I've tried to install USB kexts with no success. Does anyone know what i can do?
