A Haswell laptop with Thunderbolt

After some months of trying finally got the OS installed.

Using RehabMan's Haswell/Mavericks solution it installed perfectly.
Haswell early reboot, Mavericks, locked MSRs, and HP Envy 15-J063CL (i7-4700MQ)

I installed Maverick but with the lack of nvidia support I downgraded to mountain lion 10.8.5.
Things that I need to have it finish:
1. video card Nvidia GTX 780m

Internal network: working
Wifi: not working but ordered the correct card.
Sound: Working

Multi-touch track pad: Working with VoodooPS2Controller.kext, v1.8.9, Built 2013-12-05
Bluetooth: Working
Thunderbolt: recognizes the apple thunderbolt to firewire 800 adapter and a hard disk.

After installation It booted without graphics acceleration.
No flags worked, I try a combination of GraphicsEnabler=No, PCIRootUID=1, PCIRootUID=0, npci=0x2000 or npci=0x3000

After trying i decided to install the latest nvidia drivers for 10.8.5, using using GraphicsEnabler=No and the kernel flag set to nvda_drv=1. After that I had the black screen of death. I connected an external hdmi monitor to check and suddenly it worked. I had full graphic support on the internal and external monitor. The problem is that everytime I reboot I have to connect the external monitor to get the video back from the black screen.  I can disconnect the external monitor and the internal continues to work just fine.   But its a laptop I'm not going to have an extra monitor everytime I need to reboot.

Any Ideas?

I see you are using 120Hz screen this mean no Optimus and your internal screen is connected to eDP port, this is why your Nvidia is working with full acceleration,  the issue about only working with external monitor connected is related to NVCAP (port detection) and is the same issue the ASUS ROG laptops has, check this thread http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/293967-asus-rog-laptops-with-kepler-cards-not-detecting-dp-2-connected-lcd-display/

Maybe if you unified efforts can make this to work. I´m currently under investigation how to inject NVCAP to kepler cards.

Good Luck

I did check the link that you provided, the only problem the I have is that I don't find a way to create The efi needed to tell the card to start from the internal monitor. I think I'm  Little Rusty on my efi creation.

Since I install the latest Nvidia Divers and updated the machine to the latest 10.9.4 now I only get the external monitor via hdmi to work. This is IOREG of this laptop. Clevo P370SM3 / Sager NP9380 Nvidia GTX 780m. For anyone that have another set of eyes that can help.

Hello, I know it has been a long time since you posted this.

I have the same machine and I am trying to install mojave.

I was wondering if you are still using the same machine and still using MacOs on it ?

One more question, how were you able to make Intel® Dual Band Wireless-AC 7620 AC wireless LAN + Bluetooth Combo work ?

My Bluetooth worked itself after installing Mojave, but it does not see the wireless.

I did some research and everyone saying that card is not supported.
