Laberlohe
Hello elite of my firstname ;-) You can also get full acceleration for HD4400 by using Chameleon with bootflags "GraphicsEnabler=Yes IntelAzulFB=X" (X stands for a number between 1 and 15). Perhabs something went wrong while patching the DSDT... Could provide yours, so people with more knowledge will be able to check it? To enshure there was nothing forgotten in the DSDT patch you could creat a Chameleon boot key (use Chameleon Wizard and the kexts of your E/E). sascha1337
A nice guy with the same laptop send me his DSDT and he did it better then me. I did remove a couple of lines in my DSDT to compile and i think this guy had more experience to create the right DSDT I will upload it after food later. I've used IntelAzulFB=8 to get my HD4400 running. Sleep is working now, i did remove NullIntelCPUPowermanagement.kext

twoflower
I have the same laptop and I stuck with the installation (it restarts after Apples logo). Any help and short instructions (and the required DSTD) is really welcome! Update: I was able to install 10.9.2 with a patched kernel. I am not sure how to install the VoodooHDA (what kext I have to add?) What about: - WiFi - Camera - Bluetooth Any ideas how to fix the brightness (now it's at lowest possible value)? And where to found VoodooBattery for 10.9.2? Please help Thank you in advance!
twoflower
Here is a short description how to install Mavericks: DSDT - The most easy way is to extract it under Windows myHack 3.3.1 - create USB with Mavericks installer Modifiy org.chameleon.boot.plist: <key>SkipNvidiaGfx</key> <string>Yes</string> <key>InjectIntel-ig</key> <string>0900160a</string> <key>InjectIntel</key> <string>Yes</string> <key>DropSSDT</key> <string>No</string> Patch your kernel as described here: http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/293503-haswell-early-reboot-mavericks-locked-msrs-and-hp-envy-15-j063cl-i7-4700mq/ After that you will be able to install Mavericks. Almost nothing is working (keyboard, camera and bluetooth works). I will update this post when I have success with any of the other modules.

yushi90
Hi twoflower, did you manage to get the IntelGPU running on the v5? Since latest Chameleon Bootloader update, the HD 4400 is being recognized and seems to have QE/CI, animations work smooth. BUT: I have only lowest backlick brightness. Do you know how to fix that? Thank you

yushi90
Has anyone managed backlight? By using Backlight Slider from App Store, I can slide between 0 and 50% but not further. How does that come?
