renegadeandy Posted October 6, 2006 Share Posted October 6, 2006 Hi! SO , I have a laptop. Athlon 3000 sse2 support amd 64 bit. 512 ram 80gb hdd ATI MObility 9700 gfx card. Right, good, got a copy of 10.4.7 and have installed the gubbins which will allow it to run on the amd. However, when it boots - i hear music and so on, but nothing but a gumbled jumbled up mess on the screen - its as if it cannot find a graphics driver for my laptop, however it is a supported card. renegadeandy Posted October 6, 2006 Author Share Posted October 6, 2006 Ok, tried reinstalling several times - now it boots up to the random video saying welcome, etc - and says Tigar getting started..... however now thats all it does = it does the video, then loops it, as far as i can see infinately - and i cannot get out of it!!!!
