Laberlohe
'hoi, ga-z87m-D§H should feature a Realtek Lan- rtl81xx-chip. Try Realtek own driver http://www.realtek.com.tw/downloads/downloadsView.aspx?Langid=1&PNid=13&PFid=5&Level=5&Conn=4&DownTypeID=3&GetDown=false (offically supporting up to 10.7 but it works also on Mavericks). There will be no need to change any value at bootloader...
Supertod
I installed that and now I have this https://www.dropbox.com/s/tso357uwcd9j8up/Screenshot%202014-01-13%2009.42.54.png. I did try installing some drivers before from multi, could this have affected it?
slemblod
I think you have to extract the .kext from the .pkg and install it manually to /System/Library/Extensions/. For extracting the .pkg open Terminal and enter: pkgutil --expand path-to-pkg dir-to-extract-to After browsing some folders you will find a .gz or similar file. Extract it by double clicking it. Areeb Qaisar
I had the same issue. First make sure that you need Realtek's RT81XX Driver. I had RT8136. Here is what I did: Download the Driver from here: http://www.realtek.com.tw/downloads/downloadsView.aspx?Langid=1&PNid=13&PFid=5&Level=5&Conn=4&DownTypeID=3&GetDown=false Its a Pkg File. Install it. Reboot. It will NOT work initially. Next go to Settings > Network > Select your Ethernet Go to the Advanced Tab at the Bottom. Go to Hardware. Use these settings: Configure: Manually Speed: 10 BaseT/UTP Duplex: Full Duplex, Flow-Control Click OK, and wait for about 1 minute. It will automatically connect to Internet and the Button will turn Green. But it took about 1 Minute for me for the first time.
