lafaki
Hi, I have recently installed iATKOS ML2 on a Fujitsu Lifebook NH532 laptop. As I could not install on an internal disk, I used an external USB disk. During the installation as well as after the installation, I was unable to use the laptop keyboard and touchpad. For the installation I used USB mouse and keyboard. In the customization menu of iATKOS ML2 I selected the PS2 drivers. This ended up in only having the AppleACPIPS2Nub.kext in the /System/Library/Extensions (not the ApplePS2Controller.kext). I have read in other posts in this forum that I would need both the above kext files. Shall I install the ApplePS2Controller.kext in the /System/Library/Extensions folder? I tried to use the Kext Wizard but it did not work for me. Would you recommend any other tool / method? What about using commands in the terminal? In some other posts I have seen that these two kext files should be placed in the /Extra/Extensions folder. FYI in my installation directory there is no Extensions subfolder in the /Extra folder. Would I need to create it? On the other hand I do have a /Library/Extensions folder. Should this one be used instead? In either way, should I also leave the AppleACPIPS2Nub.kext in the /System/Library/Extensions folder? Any help would be very highly appreciated!
