New build: Gigabyte GA-H87-D3H motherboard, HD4600 Graphics, Haswell i5-4430 CPU, 16GB 1600Mhz DDR3 RAM, Sandisk 240GB SSD.

I installed Mavericks using myHack followed by Chameleon 2.2, but need to use boot flag npci=0x3000 to successfully boot from SSD.

I don't have any graphics control and no audio.  Do I need to fix the boot flag issue before I can fix the graphics and audio? If so, any suggestions?

Thanks very much,

Edward

My apologies, but I'm so new to this I don't know what to do with the information you've given me.  The Voodoo HDA download contained a .kext, a .prefPane, and a Settings Loader.  Is there a "How to" that you can point me to how to use this?

Thanks for the patience.

... and I am just as successful booting with npci=0x2000 so I will use that.
