Anyone know if it's possible to get the GTX 780 running on 10.8.3? I was running 10.8.2 which i can boot to in safe mode with the GTX 780. I just can't update to 10.8.3 and get it to boot. I can roll back to 10.8.2 from my cloned back up, stick in my old GTX 560 which my clone was created using and try and update to 10.8.3 from there. Anyone got ideas what is needed for me to get 10.8.3 working? My rig is in my sig.

Thanks for the reply but i can't install theweb drivers as my machine is listed as IMac 12,2 in smbios. I tried changing to Mac Pro in the past and couldn't boot even into safe mode. I think the sandybridge processor is the reason i can't switch to MacPro, any work arounds?

Well i'm really stumped here, tried more drivers, just can't get Cuda iworking. The card works fine other than this issue. Web drivers are being loaded. To get the card working i only had to add GraphicsEnabler= no and the kernel flag nvda_drv=1. To get the web drivers installed i had to change the smbios profile to Mac Pro 5,1 and remove AppleTyMCEDriver to be able to boot. I feel i must be missing something with the regards Cuda. I've searched the past day and nothing, Cuda not being enabled doesn't appear to be a common issue.

One other thing i have noticed when installing the Cuda drivers, although the application says it was installed successfully, console shows a few issues.

Application App:"Installer" [ 0x0/0x79079]  @ 0x0x7ff88a430fa0 tried to be brought forward, but isn't in fPermittedFrontASNs ( ( ASN:0x0-0x7b07b:) ), so denying.

[cps/setfront] Failed setting the front application to Installer, psn 0x0-0x79079, securitySessionID=0x186a6, err=-13066

Not sure if any of this is relevant but thought no harm in posting it.

It's a revision B chip, i've read about the opencl issues. The card worked out of the box ,no idea why it shows it's not compatible. I've attached a screenshot.

Your not understanding your hardware and the versions that you have...

The B version of the 780 is only a 780 in name only. In reality it is a completely new core and GPU.

I'm not sure what you are saying here. I understand that the card has changed, I've read thread after thread on it. All I've read about is the opencl crashes and nothing about having cuda not working. Is that actually the case, if so I can relax and stop trying to get it working and go back to Windows for the time being.

Did you have to do anything to get it working? Any kexts need deleted or modified? The card worked natively, only thing i have done is install Cuda drivers but Cuda-Z always states no Cuda device installed. I am thinking it's the motherboard and an issue with built in graphics perhaps. No option in my bios to disable it manually but with the p67 and running a sandybridge, the built in graphics are disabled automatically. I don't know, just guessing really.

Actually the latest Cuda drivers worked. Happy about that, GPU rendering is slow though compared to in Windows, considerably slower.
