nekton
On 10.9.1 everything works fine with ALC889 patch but 10.9.2 causes Messages to crash hard even with ALC889 patch. Something to do with new FaceTime audio in Messages I suppose. GA-X58A-UD5

mnfesq
I had a devil of a time installing 10.9.2. I got a KP about 80% of the way through boot up. Here's a screenshot: I ended up rolling back IOPlatformPluginFamily.kext to 10.9 and had to repatch my kernel for some reason. Then, with the old kext, I could reboot and install the new kext separately. It sounds easier than it actually was. It took nearly 3 hours to get everything running right. Dr. Hurt
This update finally fixed the issues I had with Launchpad and Quicklook. It was probably related to bad ATI drivers.
