Hi Everyone,

I'm having problems with my Apple hardware, it's a macbook pro early 2011.

I know that's a hackintosh forum but that's the reason i'm here.

My macbook pro got a hardware problem, specifically on the discrete graphics (AMD HD6750M) that started to make graphical glitches.

It is happening with several people with the same early 2011 model. We have reported a lot of the same experience on apple forums and the Apple doesn't recognizes that as a hardware design defect.

The discussion has several topics but one of them is on the link below.

I can use my macbook pro if i use only the integrated graphics (Intel HD3000). I use gfxCardStatus to lock on the integrated graphics.

But every time i have to boot i have to reboot 5 or more times until i get the login screen. That is because of the discrete graphics problem.

So then my question to you guys is:

Is there a way to disable the discrete graphics from being recognized by OSX from the boot time on?

I found no answer to that on other topics here in the forum nor on google.

I would like to 'remove' the discrete drivers/profile/other from the system so it cannot use it to boot the OSX, it should use only Intel graphics.

It would be as my macbook pro was a model without discrete graphics!

Does anybody know if it's possible to make?

I think you, the hackintosh community, are the best way to find the answer to this problem!

I don't have a hackintosh installation, it's a pure OSX Mavericks.

I hope find an answer to my problem here!

Thank you!!!
