Hope you can read through and help me with some hints or put me in the right direction:-) System: Gigabyte GA-Z87X-OC, Socket-1150 Intel Core i7-4770K Processor Corsair Vengeance DDR3 1600MHz 32GB Corsair TX 750W PSU Gigabyte GeForce GTX 650Ti 2GB PhysX Kingston HyperX 3K SSD 240GB 2.5" Seagate Barracuda® 3TB OSX: Mountain Lion 10.8.5 MB 5.5.3 and 5.5.5 Beginning 1. Purchased this after looking at November build at tonymacx86. I installed by using the tutorials I found on the site and with UNIB everything worked fine. I got the machine into OSX in safe mode and ran MB with some settings. NO DSDT, GraphicsEnabler=0, 1024, and some others I can't remember right now. Restarted and got into OSX. Everything worked except Audio and Ethernet. Installed AppleIntelE1000e.kext and ALC892 and when restarted both worked fine. Only thing I could get to work was a firewirecard. After installing my RME soundcard and tons of plugs/softeware for the studio everything was working perfectly. Even the UAD-2 card was running fine. Problem starts 2. Then a couple of weeks later the machine suddenly wouldn't go into OSX. Nothing was changed or installed. After going in with safemode and checking I found out that Ethernet didn't work, also the audiodriver was not working. I also had to add npci=0x3000, dart=0 and PCIRootUID=1 into the plist to get it to start. Strange since it was working fine without those the day before. Still the ethernet and internal audio wouldn't work. Not a biggie since I don't use internet for other things than registrate my software and I use RME for audio. More problems 3. The machine was working for a couple of days, then same thing happened. Hang on startup. This time I tried everything but couldn't get it in. Coincidently I took out my external 3.0 drive and the machine started. From that moment I couldn't start my machine with something put into the USB 3.0 ports. Even more 4. The machine worked 2 days. Then hanged on startup. This time it wouldn't start with anything in the USB 2.0 ports....!! Lastly 5. Machine hangs after one day of working fine. Could not start with anything connected. Went into safemode and redid everything in ##### ( which I have did many times already) after restart after restart I got it started. I don't expect it to work tomorrow!! I hope there are some nice people out there could give it a shot in helping me/the studio:-) I've uploaded 2 files that shows startup messages. I had no idea that there was different groups not interesting to help a poor guy out because I had followed some advice on a different forum. Aren't forums there so people could help each other? What can I do to ask for help here then? Rebuild? I'm begging here... I've read through the statement for this site and I can only say that I had no idea about this when building my hack. I thought all this from all sites was open coding and all thes sites was for everyone who wanted to build a hack. So I hope you can forget about the fact that I used MB, but think that I have read through tons of posts on this page and it's here that I've found all my advices.
