YungRaj
Does anyone know any way I can get the Realtek ALC892 Driver working on Mavericks? I simply just cannot get one working... I have tried everything in the book, but the kext I try to install either isn't recognized by the OS, or the sound is fuzzy and virtually unusable

Go to System Preferences -> Security & Privacy and select "Anywhere" in "Allow Apps downloaded from:", try that to see if your kext gets accepted by OS X. poispois
hi, try this kext: Realtek ALC892 read the README file. Does this kext supports microphone and HD audio front panels? Also, how does it perform on Console, do you get sound assertions with this? Thanks in advance.
poispois
I don't if you should try it without consent from someone else if you are on Mavericks. This kext is only customized for 10.8.5 Mountain Lion, from what it says on the Read Me Try it and see if it solves your problem. If not, boot in safe mode and delete them. Nothing to lose over this. styrian
You make it by yourself hard to get support. Nobody likes to play guess or you are getting wrong answers, because of your not putting your hardware in your signature, like many others have done it here. Have fun.
