g3rik
I was hoping someone could help me patch my DSDT. I've had a few successes with hackintoshes before, but this one isn't cooperating. Currently, I am not using a DSDT file and can only boot into 10.9 or 10.8 using safe mode. Have tried a million boot flag combos and different graphics cards but still only boots in safe mode. I think/hope adding the DSDT to chameleon will help boot normal. I've attached IOReg dump file and my un-modified orig DSDT in dropbox link below. Can anyone help? https://www.dropbox.com/sh/kgwyu3p9wcx0kr5/Qvc8tqOb6h My Specs Are: (And yes, I know I'm using a series 6 mono with series 7 cpu) Mobo: MSI H61M-P31 (G3) CPU: Core i3-3220 w/ Intel HD2500 Graphics (have been trying with both on board graphics and external card - no luck either way) Graphics: Diamond/Radeon 1GB HD6450 (bought this because I though there was an issues with the onboard HD2500 graphics) HD: SATA 1TB Western Digital RAM: 8GB Pony Audio: ALC 887 (Not Working yet - haven't really tried to troubleshoot as more involved with trying to boot without safe mode) LAN: Realtek 8111E FYI: Attempting to boot without -x results in the following: OSX 10.8 I get black screen with blurry lines on top left of screen OSX 10.9 I get kernel panic and "suspend" error Thank you in advance. iFIRE
first, delete all AppleIntelHD* Graphics kexts from S/L/E, then repairpermissions with Kext Wizard app/reboot now go to your bios and search graphics section and disable IGPU HD2500, save and reboot
g3rik
Yikes, that was fast, you solved my problem! I guess that's why they made you a big bad moderator. Many thanks my friend. I am now able to boot normally with my external graphics card and sound now works too. In your opinion, should I leave as is or continue to pursue a DSDT for my hardware? Thanks Again!!
