Create a own wiki :D woujld be great for everyone that still learns the basics

We already have one, but as what iPoco said once they're contemplating on replacing it with a hardware database, mostly since they find the spambot situation quite difficult to mitigate.

I would rather see a new hardware database. I don't see the point in having a forum and a wiki, if you want to create a write-up on how to do something, turn it into a forum post.

There are a few areas we'd like to focus on during the next update. HWDB being one of them, tutorials/guides discovery is another.

 

As a general comment, we love suggestions! We also love when people who have suggestions are able to help implement them. So if anyone has experience in PHP (and some basic HTML/CSS) and would like to contribute to the site - especially in one of the areas listed above, then we would welcome them with open arms.

 

We are all volunteers here, so the limiting factor for this site is manpower  :moil:

I think we need to disable user registrations on the wiki for the time being, so I can try this bulk user purge script I read on the Mediawiki website:

It's hard to understand how to add a entry to the hardware compatibility thing
