Hey guys, i  just installed ML 10,8,2 and made an update to 10,8,5 but on both versions i have a slow boot, it takes about 30 to 45 sec at the apple logo. so i tried to find out why, booting in verbose it takes 10 to 15 sec waiting for DSMOS and the applecpupowermanagement time out.

I've a Sony Vaio VPCEH2K1E

Ram 4gb

Processor i3

600gb local disk capacity

Nvidia Geforce 410m

I'm booting with kernel cache flag and my smbios is Macpro 3,1.

Thats normal

Nothing wrong with your install

If you want it to go faster upgrade to a SSD
