Loldongz
Hello, I have two hackintoshes running 10.8 perfectly booting from SAS drives (not using hardware RAID, OS X can only detect separate drives), using the Clover bootloader. One is a HP xw8400, which has an LSI SAS1064 PCI-X Fusion-MPT controller that worked out of the box with the AppleLSIFusionMPT.kext kext without any modifications (PCI ID 1000:0050). The HP xw8600 has a SAS1068 instead, so I needed to add the corresponding PCI ID under IONameMatch (pci1000,54) to get it to work. However, attempting to boot Mavericks installation with the latest Clover 2236 doesn't detect my disks at all on either computer. dmesg doesn't show output from the FusionMPT kext as it did on ML. This is the ioreg of the xw8400 computer (the one that worked with the unmodified Apple kext) under ML. Any idea of what could be happening here? The PCI ID in the Mavericks version of AppleLSIFusionMPT still has pci1000,50 there, so I have no idea why the kext isn't kicking in the Mavericks installer. Thanks! ioreg.log.txt
Loldongz
Alright, it seems that the problem is not with the AppleLSIFusionMPT kext from Mavericks, if I load Mavericks with IOPCIFamily.kext from Mountain Lion, OS X recognizes everything properly, even with the AppleLSIFusionMPT kext from Mavericks. Any idea of what changes they made that could be causing this?
