10.9 GM Mavericks Successful Install - NO MORE TONYOSX HELP - Need minor details - Can help others:)

I just finished Mavericks GM install (already had success with 10.8.5) pretty much worked with all my ML kexts. didn't have the white screen on installer boot with my HD 6850. Went very smooth. If anyone could point me in the right direction with a few things that would be great. If anyone has any questions let me know!! Thanks.

 

I used myHack 3.2 Beta to create the installer and used a separate MBR patch. - http://www.osx86.net/files/file/3559-new-os-x-109-mavericks-mbr-patch-final-gm/

added the following kexts  in /Extras and used myFix to add them (You can use [url="http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/279450-why-insanelymac-does-not-support-tonymacx86/"]#####[/url] after but the purpose of this post is to ditch it all together) :

 

-3rd Party Sata

-IOAHCIBlockStorageInjector

-IOPCIFamily

-FakeSMC (but later use the one provided on [url="http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/279450-why-insanelymac-does-not-support-tonymacx86/"]#####[/url] with plugins)

-HDAEnabler889

-AppleHDA (for realtek 889) (I downloaded these last two files together)

 

On ML I deleted ATI6000Controller and added it in after install. Simply (backup and) delete it out of /System/Library/Extensions, add it in /Extras/Extensions after, run myFix

 

WITH THIS METHOD I CAN SUCCESSFULLY BOOT INTO THE INSTALL WITHOUT ANY FLAGS OR PROBLEMS.

Simply boots into installer on Mavericks. No white screen error like ML.

 

My Hardware:

i3 2100 3.10GHz

Gigabyte H61M-D2P-B3 (F6) (Downloaded DSDT from Tonyosx forum. idk where else you get them)

ASUS EAH-6850

Realtek 889 Audio (Downloaded from OSX86 forum i believe. Came with AppleHDA and HDAEnabler889)

I had to do a lot of trial and error. Multi beasts Realtek 889 AppleHda fix did not work for me.

Realtek 81xx LAN (i forget haha. google your motherboard and find out. i used lnx2mac)

 

Also "iCloud fix" Its pretty simple process to get App store and iCloud to work. Google it. 

 

With these installed i have 0 problems. I am using DVI however because my HDMI doesn't work yet. I know the answers in this forum though. I only use one monitor so its not killing me right now.

HERE ARE SOME QUESTIONS I HAVE MOVING ON FROM HERE (To Ditch Multi- :

 

I noticed this forum doesn't support Tonyosx86. Im starting to understand why. I still feel dependent on multi-b though. I understand adding a boot loader (i plan to use Clover). These are the stupid things that keep me from ditching multi b:

 

-How do I use my DSDT.aml without Multi-B? 

-How do I change my already installed Chimera boot loader to Clover? It does not simple install over.

-Patches AppleRTC to prevent CMOS resets? (i don't think this affects me I've never had my BIOS pref. reset)

-The whole FakeSMC with the plugins that have to match?

-Do i need to create my own smbios.plist? Do i need a unique SMSerial? SMboardproduct? Im not even sure if Multi-B adds this file or how it works TBH.

-Do i need Apple ACPIPlatform Rollback?

-Do you like my sweet nickname Multi-B?

 

Anything else I should know?

 

I have tried restoring InstallESD and using Clover with all my kexts/DSDT with no success. i was stuck at  a black screen blinking _ and just went back to my old method

i feel like I've spent so much time doing this i don't want to learn anything the hard way anymore. (inevitable)

 

Im sure I'm asking dumb questions that have been answered. I HAVE CHECKED THE FORUM TO SOLVE MY PROBLEMS IVE BEEN ON FORUMS FOR WEEKS, and I've tried to do the hackintosh thing without success for years. Now that i FINALLY have it down my way i feel dumb that I couldn't do it a long time ago, but any help ditching [url="http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/279450-why-insanelymac-does-not-support-tonymacx86/"]#####[/url] all together would be greatly appreciated.

When you use Multi-B it changed your apple logo on boot to a stupid ass apple. They will not brand me!

Chimera looks like a childs cartoon. Clover is way ahead in terms of everything. Try it. You'll dig it. 

I have also read forum posts on here discussing why they do not support TonyOSX. You should also read up and explore other options.

DSDT - at the root of your Mac hard drive, create a folder called Extra and copy your DSDT.aml into it
