Hi guys,

I'm a newbie here..

I've got a problem about installing Mac OS X 10.5.x ( and even the 10.6.x ) onto my nearly 6 years old laptop Acer extensa 5620.

Every time I install it ( no matter what version: iPC, iAtkos, iDeneb, 10.5.5, 10.5.7 .........etc ),

after a while of "booting", some weird glitch appears .

Sound is working fine..

My specs:

Acer Extensa 5620

intel Core 2 Duo T5550 (1,83Ghz)

ATi Radeon HD 2400 XT

2GB RAM

I haven't tried the Mac OS X Lion yet. ( Is that even worth trying..? )

With a Core2Duo you could run even Mavericks. However I don't know if GPU would be supported. In fact I don't even know if it's supported at all. That's the main issue with hackintoshed laptops.

All the best!

P.S.: I did your homework and did the research for you. Your card is fully supported. In fact it used to be use by MacBook Pros some years ago. Try Mountain Lion or even Mavericks (but Mavericks is untested with your card as far as I know). Good luck!

P.P.S.: if possible upgrade your RAM memory to 4 GB!
