GUI Frozen

Hi, Am new to the forums and the world of OSx86.

 

Anyway my 'Hackintosh' loads everything up but the GUI is locked for 10 minutes, the mouse works but everything is frozen. It loads only 2GB @ 800mhz (DDR2) of ram according to about this mac. The 450 (GPU) isn't recognised with GraphicsEnabler on or off. 

 

A couple of things to note, I have an AMD and I updated to 10.6.8 and it boots fine. (I have installed the legacy kernel)

This is the first time setting up a Hackintosh and it's proving to be very problematic.

 

My specs are below;

 

AMD Phenom II X4 960T @ 3.0 (Quad/Hex depending on bios settings) (Currently left all stock)

ASUS M4A88T-M (880G)

Nvidia GTS 450 (Palit) 1GB

8GB DDR3 RAM

Hitachi HDD 160GB
