[Sound Problem] AD2000B did not work

I just have installed OSX 10.8.4 with the myhack usb installer on my Asus P6TD Deluxe.

All is working so far only the sound is making problems. The AD2000B is not working.

What can I do to fix the problem? Which .kext should I use?

Update to OSX 10.8.5 worked without any problems.

I found a solution. Sound is now working without problems.

It's working fine on Mountain Lion 10.8.4/5 , Asus P6TD DELUXE
Just drag n drop all those kext in Kext Utility.

Install the attached files in S/L/E!

The file is for the P5Q Deluxe board but the P6TD DELUXE uses the the same chip.

Found it here: http://www.osx86.net/files/file/1436-adi-ad2000b-for-asus-p5q-deluxe/

No. I got it working earlier that night (4:00 a.m.). Now I wanted to post my solution for helping you. But you were just a bit faster in posting the solution!

I acknowledge my defeat. :)

lol acknowledgement accepted.

im glad ive found someone with the same rig tbh, gives a slight advantage to ironing out creases being that two heads are better than one. im trying to decide if i want to get my esata working and or if its ever gonna be used..

which installer did you use?

i used the iAtkos ml2 distro and ran it from disc. i gotta re install it later on too as i need to setup a dual boot with my w7 on my main hdd.

I used the myHack installer. This solution is working best for me.

I also used different distros like iAtkos etc but I had problems with them. Installation went fine but booting the OS did not work then.

I use the  myHack installer method since Snow Leopard. For Mountain Lion I have tried another solution but it failed again. So I came back to the myHack installer.

Installation was smooth. (also my PS2 Keyboard works). After installation you have to do a bit fine tuning with installing the kexts for the not working devices. You have to do a bit research (had also trouble with yukon/marvell ethernet lan but I got it also working later) but when all kexts and chameleon bootloader is installed all works fine.

At the moment I am also doing a fresh install of my OS'es because I upgraded my system with a new SSD.

I am using Windows 7 x64 Ultimate, Macosx 10.8.5 and Debian Linux 7.01 with triple boot configuration. Win7 and OSX is installed already so only Linux is left.

When I have installed Windows (tried Win8 Pro to see how it looks and feels, but dropped it after 15mins) I got my bootloader exchanged/destroyed on my first harddrive so no OSX and Linux work anymore :(

I have disabled the harddisk in Bios but Windows sees it even it is disabled. So I recovered the bootloader to boot Win7 again and start from scratch.

This time disconect the power cable from the harddrive so the system can't see/use it. Re-installed Win7 on the SSD. After the re-connect the harddrive to my system.

Now I am able to boot my old Win7 from the harddrive. Next I need to use OSX in a VM because my old Snow Leo did not work anymore. Prepared the myHack Installer usb stick in the VM and then installed OSX on the SSD. Yes this was my installation marathon until now... :)

ive just done a TR-boot on my samsung rv510 laptop, had a few issues with iAtkos, but it was just a matter of having the correce customization options selected, W8 is the biggest piece of {censored} OS ive ever seen.... and theres been some megaturd os... just look at vista lol

coming bk to the p6t though,

bios settings to change were simple change storage config to AHCI and enable EDB (execute disable bit), all other bios settings were left as default or personal preference.

on the customization menu i needed to add

bootloader options:

USB Fix

PCI Root-1

Patches:

IOPCIFamily

TSC SYNC

Mac Model = Macbook pro

Drivers:

PS/2

VGA:

nVidia's 10.8.2 drivers

disable nvidia vga drivers

those worked first attempt like a charm, no need for extra commande on boot. only issue ive had isthe audio, which is now solved.

the one other thing im having an issue with though, is playing youtube videos and metacafe videos, safari hangs and crashes when i try to play them, firefox just gives me a blank video, and opera gives me audio but no video :(, are videos playing on your rig?

on my RV510, for tri-boot, i had to work like this

run iatkos dvd, use disk utility to create 3 x MBR partitions, 1 formatted to osx journaled and 2 xfat for windows versions, i had the array set as

ExFat - journaled - ExFat, it seemed that putitng osx on first partition kept causing me problems.

i then installed w7 onto partitoin 1, w8 onto partition 3 and then i ran the iAtkos distro dvd and installed that to partition 2, this seemed to work great, i did expect to have to repair windows bootloader, but workin this way i somehow avoided the issue.

on the rv510 the only issue i had on mac was the wifi, turned out my card wasnt supported, so i swapped it out and put in an atheros i had laying around.

im yet to try an install using ##### or chameleon with an official osx distro, but ill get round to it soon,

OMFG....... GRRR..... after reinstalling ML onto a dual boot array, this feckin thing dont work no more :(

you got any other suggestions jack?

never mind, ive solved it again.

the three kexts i posted first, althought they "DO" work, i have discovered wouldnt work after reinstalling, i really have no idea whybut heres what i did to solve it,

i downloaded this kext pack

http://www.osx86.net/files/download/1436-adi-ad2000b-for-asus-p5q-deluxe/

installed it, and then i re installed the kexts from the first set i posted.

not sure why this needed to be done, and im not going to try and understand, all i know is it worked.

just incase anyone else runs into the same issue ive posted the solution again.
