My MB is ASRock H87 Performance,without patch the origin bios I got reboot or stuck.So,I patched it with PMPatch,and it's works fine with Clover,almost everything works.

1,use afudos from ami,dump the bios from onboard bios

afudos name.rom /o

2,patch it with PMatch

3,flash with afudos

afudos patched.rom

Do it at your own risk!

Clover can patch AppleIntelCPUPowerManagement.kext on the fly so you don't have to use a patched UEFI BIOS.

Also. Haswell processors use XCPM (Xnu CPU Power Management) instead of loading AppleIntelCPUPowerManagement.kext (writing to MSR 0xE2 with the lock bit set) when you set plugin-type: 1 on CPU0 like we have been doing since the introduction of Ivy Bridge processors. This device-property should skip it from loading the former kext. Can someone here confirm this?

Hi cnlbuy,

it's method of "MSR" patch

almost of board except "giga" can make this way 'msr' patch.

#"use afudos from ami,dump the bios from onboard biosuse afudos from ami,dump the bios from onboard bios"

1. find 'afudos' from anywhere by your self,

make bootable usb and put afudos in it.

dos boot, and execute

/afudos name.rom /o

--->backing up mainboad bios under name off "name.rom".

#"patch it with PMatch"

2. find 'PMatch' from anywhere by your self(it's windows program, not DOS)

install and execute.

---> making 'msr' patch

#"flash with afudos"

3. again dos boot, and execute

/afudos patched.rom

---> flashing new bios.

finish.
