KevAmiga Posted October 2, 2013 Share Posted October 2, 2013 Evening all. Have completed my install on my other PC, (core2duo), installed easily but now, am attempting to get my AMD box to run. Not ideal, but does anyone know where I can go from here. MoBo is an MS 7786 v1.0 with AMD A6 APU. Currently installed, is 10.6.3 using the Nawcom boot disc. OS is runing fine, currently have no graphics card installed. I have a GT610 here that works well in the Core2Duo, but not on 10.6.3 (afaik its too old to support this card). So, my questions are moving foward : Can i get a gfx card (PCIexpress) that will work in this machine? I used software update, and after that it wouldnt boot, even with flags. Am i right in thinking, i wiped out the AMD kernel, etc when updated? Is there a way to get a newer version of OSX on here? I have no problem in purchasing it to get it to run.
