VfB Posted September 24, 2005 Share Posted September 24, 2005 The first thing I noticed with my system that the user interface elements are pretty fast, but importing iTunes tracks are really slow. When I import a CD to the standard AAC setting with ~5minute tracks, the import rate never even reaches 3.0x. Sometimes it dips below 1.5x - painfully slow! What are all of your iTunes import experiences? My system: ASROCK 915dual board w/Intel 900 graphics ATA100 drive Celeron 2.4GHz 512 MB DDR iTunes import ~ 2-3 x Is this just the Celeron processor or some patch in the core/software??? Rosetta?
