Lordadmiral Drake
Ever since I switched to Clover as my boot loader AICPM doesnt load anymore. Even stranger: trying to boot with Chameleon again doesn't fix the issue. Console gives me this: 25.09.13 12:06:28,000 kernel[0]: kxld[com.apple.driver.AppleIntelCPUPowerManagement]: The following symbols are unresolved for this kext: 25.09.13 12:06:28,000 kernel[0]: kxld[com.apple.driver.AppleIntelCPUPowerManagement]: _pm_init_lock 25.09.13 12:06:28,000 kernel[0]: Can't load kext com.apple.driver.AppleIntelCPUPowerManagement - link failed. 25.09.13 12:06:28,000 kernel[0]: Failed to load executable for kext com.apple.driver.AppleIntelCPUPowerManagement. 25.09.13 12:06:28,000 kernel[0]: Kext com.apple.driver.AppleIntelCPUPowerManagement failed to load (0xdc008016). 25.09.13 12:06:28,000 kernel[0]: Failed to load kext com.apple.driver.AppleIntelCPUPowerManagement (error 0xdc008016). What can I do to fix this? Another strange thing is: Even though AICPM.kext doesnt load, my CPU is switching between x8 and x20 multi (min and max) only, as needed

Lordadmiral Drake
It's still vanilla, and it worked as such back then. I tried Clovers on-the-fly autopatcher since, but no change
Lordadmiral Drake
I found out that I had indeed a different AICPM version installed. I now put in the vanilla ML version. Now the kext loads, but the system stops booting after wifi initialisation, where it would normally switch to login window, no matter if I use -s or -x switch or both

SMBios of MBP 8,2 is near to your system definition. Have fun. ssdtPRGen.zip
Lordadmiral Drake
I fixed the problem by booting using a chameleon USB stick, then installing AICPM.kext from 10.7.3 and now it OS X boots using my default Clover boot loader again. aicpm gets loaded and doesnt throw any errors in console. I'm using MBP 8,3 for smbios EDIT: According to HWSensors speedstep is working including turboboost
