meanwhile
Please help me. Just a hint or anything. I want to install iatkos ml2 on my machine. Im pretty sure i met all the system requirements and the hardware requirements. I am using HP pavilion dv6 Here is my spec The problem i encountered is on the installation. I dont have a problem on boot or anything. I just have a problem on disk utility not recognizing my HDD. I cant see my HDD there only my USB where i installed the bootable iatkos. What is wrong here? meanwhile
hello some lappy only install in MBR partition good hack Hi. Thanks for replying. When you say master boot record. You mean when i created the usb bootable osx? Because i partitioned my usb on GUID partition table. I just follow the tutorial made by iatkos. Aside from that, since you didnt specify any hardware problem. Does that mean everything is good on my Lappy? I am getting frustated at this. Ive use ideneb but what i got is kernel panic. Then use a single layer mac osx snow leopard but didnt work. hello some lappy only install in MBR partition good hack Try going to BIOS. 1. Switch BIOS out of UEFI mode 2. Switch SATA to AHCI mode Thanks for the reply. HP pavilion dv6 is by default in SATA ACHI mode. I have a very very limited settings on my bios. And about the EUFI mode. I have both legacy and UEFI. You see on my bios I can disabled the legacy support and my bios will choose EUFI. But since i dont have any problem in boot options i dont think EUFI and legacy is the case for iatkos. DOnt know about ideneb because i got a kernel panic and that OSX was last updated on 2011. Would you mind telling me if my hardware is good? I can give you the list of my device ID. meanwhile
hello what i understand .. u problem is the install don't reconize the hd ? u can boot .. but no hd to install the mac os x good hack Yup exactly. I have no error at booting but no HDD on disk utility to instal the OS. And your suggestion is to create and MBR partition on my hard disk so that disk utility can see it? Is that right? Are you on irc? Edited September 19, 2013 by Gringo Vermelho You other, identical topic has been deleted. Don't create multiple posts with the same topic.
