Cambridge Silicon Radio  - CSR - bc3, USB dongle (SITECOM branded - model CN-523).

Not working properly after update (cannot turn off etc. - thus not responding at all).

No success with this problem (I cannot find a solution) - I tried Rollback of 10.8.4 IOBluetoothFamily.kext, but no success.

The device should work cause it's defined in CSRBluetoothHostControllerUSBTransport.kext

I will try to remove BT prefs and try again ….

Device Type (Major): - Looks all messed-up here ...

It is clearly there ….

Same problem exist on 10.9 DPs (all 8 of them) for some people. I could make it to connect devices by editing the com.apple.bluetooth.plist in preferences folder, but can't disable it. They modified something in the bluetooth kexts in new OSX versions... My bet is that some power management related thing messed up there because if I modify the powerstate value in the plist, then it's connecting to devices...

Here's the 10.9 topic from this (exact) problem: http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/289871-bluetooth-stuck-in-on-state-and-not-working/
