Hello mates!

I have an Acer Aspire 7720g, but it had problems with the stock MXM video card (Nvidia 8400m GS) and I have replaced it with a new Nvidia 9600m GT 512mb card, which I thought would be even better, since is the model used by Apple. Before the change I used it successfully with both Lion and ML, but after the change the installed partitions wont boot and whatever i try, for the first time I cannot even get to the install menu. It works perfectly with windows though... :(

I'm trying the install with npci=0x3000, otherwise it stops at PCI configuration begin.

Can you help me, please?

Thank you so much.

Just for the record, the problem wasn't with the graphics card. Experimenting with deleting various kexts and trying to reboot, I identified the error with the FireWire. It is curious though, because before the change it worked perfectly, and now doesn't. There might be a problem with the motherboard, but it tend to exclude it since FireWire is recognized and seems to work in windows...

Any clues?
