I'm building my modded G5 and now i have a doubt about fans. For 92mm back fan and CPU fan i decided to follow this way:

http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/287874-tutorial-converting-g5-fans-original-look-pc-configuration/

but PCI fan and HDD fan just has 4-pin connectors...are there standard PWM connectors or i have to modify them too?

Then i have another question about link pasted above. In your opinion, if i replace original stator circuit with another one (for example of a silence fan like Noctua) keeping original G5 fan, i will gain something in terms of silence or not? Thanks in advance!

None of the fans on the G5 (or anything else Apple really!) is standard PC type.......

Most people (with good reason) just throw away the original fans and use modern replacements.
