styrian
Hello demented! At first please put your hardware in signature, like I have done it. Which operating system is installed? Is it an UEFI install? Do you have an external hardisk in an enclosure? Does it mater, if you have to do a complete new install? Do you want a dual booting system (WIN7 or 8 and OSX)? Do you have an install medium for Win7/8? The best and most secure way for you to try to install OSX is an ext. HD. You also need an 8 GB Usb- stick ( 2 of this size if you have to create an Win7/8 one) Have fun! PS: if you have time, you can read this: http://insanelymac.com/forum/topic/280756-guide-the-all-in-one-guide-to-vanilla-os-x-including-chameleon-dsdt-for-beginners/

styrian
I think on the Dell you did not patch the AppleRTC.kext. If want to patch this kext you have just to copy over the following to terminal window and execute: sudo perl -pi -e 's|\x75\x30\x44\x89\xf8|\xeb\x30\x44\x89\xf8|; s|\x75\x3d\x8b\x75\x08|\xeb\x3d\x8b\x75\x08|' /System/Library/Extensions/AppleRTC.kext/Contents/MacOS/AppleRTC Until now i knew nothing about your Cpu. I guess, it is perhaps a Core i5-3320m? Please upload your photos from above as attachement. Have fun!
