theconnactic Posted August 22, 2013 Share Posted August 22, 2013 If it's an Optimus system, you'll have to disable the nVidia card either from DSDT edits or BIOS settings. MBP 8,1 has approximately the hardware specs of your lappy. Have a look in Downloads on Pandora. You are guided with tips during install. For making the installer you should advice the script to temporarily delete all video kexts. artur_pt Posted September 18, 2013 Share Posted September 18, 2013 hello first u need to install the mac os x.. the method is what u choose and u must read a lot... u know nothing.. so u must read about u are trying to install mac os x is for mac and developed exclusively for mac hack mac os x is a process.. 99% of reading, googling, persistency and 1% of luck u have compatible hardware.. so my advice is to u to read.. it have tons of info in this forum and others about the process.. don't expect a install like windows.. good hack Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
