In desperated move, I copy some USB kext found on the internet: AppleUSBXHCI.kext; IOUSBFamily.kext to S/L/E of my MRB My Hack USB installer.

Nothing change.

I captured my screen. Hope somebody can help me.

Tried to run the USB on my laptop, still get the Still Waiting for root devices?

I used My Hack with USB formatted at MRB.

Not sure what went wrong....

Holy sh@t!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Good news: Finally I can see the damn Installing Screen!!!!!!!

Bad news: Go to Utilities, I cannot see other sata HDD (except the only USB installer).

What should I do now ?

The process I made as following:

Today,

I recreate an Mavericks DP1 10.9 Installer, with the attemp to try testing on my laptop Dell E6400.

At first, I got CPU panic.

Then, I follow the guid:

http://forum.osxlatitude.com/index.php?/topic/1764-mountain-lion-on-e6400-in-5-steps/

I used the Myhack to install the extra folder ==>>> Volla! The E6400 show installing screen.

Then, I move the USB to my main desktop. And got the CPU panic.!

So I guess maybe the DSDT and smbios are wrong!

So, I replace the smbios with Mac 13.2 and delete completely the dsdt from Extra folder of my USB.

Then I boot with: -v -f -x GraphicsEnabler=No

================> YES YES YES: The holy moly Installer screen!

I wen to the Disk Utilities - But it's show notthing but the USB.

I recheck bios: AHCI enabled.

Recheck USB: S/L/E: I see the IOAtaFamily.kext

But still cannot see the other HDD to install.

Any helps is very appreciated !

Thx you.

I copied AppleAHCIPort.kext and another IOATAFamily.kext to S/L/E.

Now the installer recornized all my HDDs.

Last night, I tried install the OS.

After the instalation process, I got the error Boot:0 error

Fixed with the method: Copy boot1h to OSX Volumn.

Then I try to boot to OSX volumn on HDD. Pass the Boot:0 error.

But It stop at the still waiting for root device.

Maybe I miss the AHCI driver.

Will try to copy AppleAHCIPort.kext and another IOATAFamily.kext to Extra folder and run myhack again.

Wish me luck.

Wonderful news!

I can boot straight to MAC OS X ! (No need any boot flag, just hit boot from HDD)!

_ The network: Working like a charm (after install Apple1000 kext - found from http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/290862-haswel-i7-4770k-ga-z87x-ud5h-gtx-650-ti-works-1084/?p=1940215

The stranger think is:

Problem: GTX 560ti not work on ML 10.9 DP1

Update: I tried a method of edit NVDAGF100 kext.

But when I open the kext, there're no info.plist inside it. (Tried to show all hidden file)

I tried to replace the kext with ML 10.8.4 Kext which have info.plist => boot -v -f: System cannot load the kext.

Anyone solved this problem?

Try this. As always: install, before restart, repair disk.

After that go to system preferences , Voodoo, etc.

Apply Cuda Drivers and check if you have CI/Qe (Hardware Aceleration).

Open Chess, if works you have.

hi, i run the voodoo.pkg

But it say something about error kext with mykext plugin

and say that installation fail.

I go to sourceforce download voodoo, copy kext and add the panel.

But when restart, the Voodoo Panel say that: No VooDooHDA devices deteted.

About the graphics, I installed CUDA Drivers (newest). Tried to add string to info.plist.

But no luck, still cannot change the resolution ....

Update:

_ I updated my ML 10.9 from DP2 to DP3.

_ Tried installing the VooDooHDA.Lion.

Got the kernel panic.

Go to the USB, reinstall Extra folder using myHack.

Boot straight to OSX (no need any boot flag).

Holy !!!!!!!!!!!!!! => System have sound !!!!

_ Shut down function: Work.

_ Restart function: Work.

_ Sleep: when I hit sleep, black screen appear with a mouse icons, Moving the mouse, desktop show again (some kind of screen saver?). But the CPU fan still run. Not sure sleep function works properly or not.

Now I only need one step to perfection: Make the GTX 560ti to WORK!

Any advice is very appreciated.

Now I have a great news and a bad news.

I tried an app called FrezzerFix. (on a site, you knows what I mean...). Thx to FusselFuz.

I updated my 10.9 to DP4.

After that I cannot boot, the screen turn off after boot.

Then I have to reinstall my extra folder (this method saves me thousand of times).

Then I boot straight to OSX.

The miracle being: Full resolution ! and Dual Monitor !

That is the good news.

But there's the bad news:

1. System animation very slow

2. Safari flickering!

3. Can open chess app, but it's very slow

4. Can not review other screen saver.

How can I enable full hardware acceleration on my GTX 560ti?

Breaking news:

_ The problem is: My 2nd Monitor connected via VGA cable.

Solution: Turn off that monitor.

Now I can happily announce that: My system is fully hackintoshed ! (Mavericks 10.9 SP6).

+ VGA GTX 560ti: Fully works!

+ Mainboard:

  1. Shutdown; Restart; and Sleep: Fully works.
  2. Audio: Yes.
  3. Network: Yes.

Thx you so much to everyone in the forums and over internet help me with my mackintosh process.
