boxeyes Posted July 20, 2013 Share Posted July 20, 2013 succesfull install of OS X 10.8 but reboots to grey screen ( with line across circle) why does it happen ? rebooted manytimes also tried reinstalling again lets see what happens be back in 2 hours or less any advice ? joe_black Posted July 20, 2013 Share Posted July 20, 2013 Possibly one of 2 things: 1) You did not install AHCI SATA drivers during installation. 2) Your mainboard is set to boot SATA as IDE instead of AHCI (Change to AHCI in BIOS) Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
