Can I use P8Z77-V Premium DSDT for Deluxe?

Never use DSDTs patched by someone else, always extract and patch your own.

Even if the DSDT comes from the same motherboard as yours, DSDT contents change depending on BIOS settings, BIOS version, devices on the PCI bus, amount of RAM installed, and probably several other factors.

The P8Z77-V series are very similar when you cut down to the bone, but they don't all use the same on-board devices, and the memory ranges set in DSDT for the Premium will not match memory ranges on your board. Another thing to consider is that the DSDT includes references to other ACPI tables that might be present on the Premium but not on the Deluxe. This also changes depending on BIOS settings and BIOS version.

If you use someone elses DSDT, or the DSDT from the Premium that you found, you potentially introduce more issues than whatever you're trying to fix through DSDT in the first place.

The best way to approach this would be to compare the patched DSDT you found to a clean DSDT from the same board so that you can see exactly which devices have been removed or patched.

Then add the appropriate patches to a clean DSDT from your own board.

I have the P8Z77V-Pro with an i5-3570k. It makes a great hack.

It's running the OS X installation from my P5Q-E with just a few changes.

Everything works except the wi-fi (there's no driver for Atheros 9485) and there's a minor issue with USB flash drive ejection on S3 sleep.

Next adventure will be to get the HD4000 on the i5 working alongside my GTX 660. This will be just for fun because I only have one display anyway. :)
