Hello world ,

What is the procedure to follow to install Mountain Lion on my Samsung notebook with the following configuration ?

CPU : Intel i3 2310M (2,1Ghz)

RAM : 4GB DDR3

HDD : 500GB SATAII

Video Card : Intel HD 3000 + Nvidia GT520MX

Sound Card : Realtek HD

Network Card : Realtek PCIe GBE Family Controller (LAN)

                        Intel Centrino N-130 (WLAN)

I have tried to install iAtkos ML version but after complete installation it doesn't work , i mean the cursor icon is still loading but after a while time it appears an error "You need to restart your computer ...".

I read on another forum that i must install first Snow Leopard and after that to install Mountain Lion via #####

Sorry for my spelling mistakes but I'm Romanian. Thanks and i hope you will help me.

Hi,

Ignore what you have read before. (Except the post above)

The cursor loading after installation, is because of dual graphics, that will not work in OS X.

After installation, boot from the HDD, with the -s kernel flag, after loading, type:

mount -uw /
rm -rf /System/Library/Extensions/GeForce.kext
rm -rf /System/Library/Extensions/NVDAGK100Hal.kext
rm -rf /System/Library/Extensions/NVDAStartup.kext
shutdown -r now

hi

it's funny that you apologize for your spelling mistakes but you do not apologize for trying to bypass forum filters.   <_>

First and last warning about this
