sohum Posted July 7, 2013 Share Posted July 7, 2013 Hey all, I'm so close to getting this laptop 100%, the only things left are lid sleep and full brightness. I'm not well versed in DSDT editing, but I have applied patches to this setup to get it working. Now, to the main problem - 1. Computer does not go to sleep when lid closes. Not a huge deal, but it would be nice if I could point the Lid device to the sleep method? 2. Backlight issues (Brightness) - After inputing the (PNLF) dsdt edit for brightness, I get the slider. However, the lowest value of the slider shuts the backlight off completely. Anyways, I was wondering if anyone here that was good at DSDT editing could give me a couple of suggestions?
