wered Posted July 4, 2013 Share Posted July 4, 2013 sorry if its a dumb question, kind of new to macs, i bought an xserve g5 off craigslist, i bought a gpu and a hard drive for it, when i bought it the guy gave me a flash drive that had osx server 10.5 on it for the server, but i have no idea how to use the toast file, every thing iv seen is saying to use the toast program, but im not going to pay 80 to use it one time for a server that may not work, and i couldn't find it on the bay for windows. so does anyone know how to go about making a disk or a bootable usb so i can install the system on this thing, also when i power up the mac with no hdd, i don't get any display on the screen or anything, is that normal since the gpu was an extra option and not standard on these, i was thinking maybe its a drive it has to have from the os?
