loothi
Any current recommends on which brand SSD to buy? My hack has a OCZ vertex SSD 2 60GB but I need more space for my system files. It's a Premiere/FCP editing mac with all video files on old school HD's. I was thinking 256GB and probably OCZ again just because I've had no problems in 2 years. I buy from Amazon.co.uk. freeuser16
Yep, OCZ's are good. You can take 128gb/256gb Vertex 4, pretty good price/quality ratio I think.
Matty0
From my experience OCZ are good value, low reliability after a number of writes. Crucial drives are much more reliable. Slightly more expensive though. If you have the money to spend however, Samsung 830 or 840 series. Though Crucial is my recommendation, Intel have some good drives too at a similar price. Consider those two brands in my opinion.
