xxnasmaxx Posted June 29, 2013 Share Posted June 29, 2013 What you need: Niresh 10.8.2 Distro 10.8.4 Combo Update. (not from software update or app store) Intel Graphics Kext. (Credit Goes to GhostRaider) Graphics Kext Download Install 10.8.2 using niresh, and select customizations used: 1. (Graphics) move graphics extensions. 2. (Audio) VooDooHDA 2.8.2 3. (Laptop) iSightcam 4. (Additional kexts) un-select disabler 5. (Replace AppleACPIPlatform) deselect 10.8.1 6. (Chameleon extra) select mac book pro 8,1 After install and boot into desktop install combo update but do not restart yet. delete all intel graphics kext and use kext wizard to rebuild permissions and cache and restart. once booted into desktop install Graphics kext from zip using kext wizard (make sure to rebuild permissions and cache again) and edit chameleon boot file in extra folder and add <key>GraphicsEnabler</key> <string>Yes</string> <key>Graphics Mode</key> <string>1600x900x32</string> after you have edited the boot file restart. you should now have a working mac 10.8.4 installed. Things to fix, iMessages, Sleep and battery percent icon.
