rayman121985
Is it true that UEFI motherboards are better and easier for setting up a hackintosh? I heard they work out of the box a lot more so than non-uefi mobo and you don't have to deal with as much problems. Is that true? If so I need to get a UEFI mobo. Thanks! 3.14r2
Is it true that UEFI motherboards are better and easier for setting up a hackintosh? AFAIK there is no difference. Compatibility of chipset/CPU/video card/sound card/LAN card does matter. UEFI or not it doesn't matter. The other thing is, that most modern motherboards/laptops are UEFI equipped.
